Long-Tail Keyword Ideas & Intent Classification

This tool runs entirely in your browser and produces an estimate from the text or file you supply. It does not query an external database or index, and nothing you enter is uploaded.

How this tool works

There is no data behind this. It carries no search volume, no competition figure and no cost per click, because those come from proprietary datasets that nothing free can query honestly. What it does is expand a seed word into six long-tail patterns, each labelled with the intent that pattern usually signals.

The six patterns are fixed and the same six come back for any seed you enter. Their value is not as suggestions but as prompts: each represents a different reason someone searches — comparing, learning, buying — and seeing them together is a quick way to notice which of those reasons your page currently ignores.

Turning a pattern into a keyword

  • Read each one as a question about your page: if the pattern describes something a reader might want and your page does not address it, that is the finding.
  • Check them where the data actually is: Google's autocomplete, the People Also Ask box and the query report in Search Console are free, real, and specific to your site.
  • One intent per page: a page trying to serve someone comparing options and someone learning the basics usually serves neither well.
  • Do not chase volume first: a phrase with modest volume that describes exactly what you offer is worth more than a broad one you will never rank for.

Frequently Asked Questions

Specific to the Keyword Research Tool. Broader questions about this category are answered on the category page.

There are none, and the tool does not claim any. Volume and cost data come from advertising platforms and paid SEO datasets. Any free tool showing those numbers is either passing on a rough estimate from a third party or inventing them.
Unknown. They are grammatical patterns applied to your word, not observed queries. Some will be real and some will not, which is why each needs checking against a source that reports genuine demand.
Because the six patterns are fixed templates. The tool substitutes your word into them; it does not generate or rank anything.
A longer, more specific phrase — three or four words rather than one. They are searched less often individually, are usually easier to rank for, and tend to convert better because the person searching has already narrowed down what they want.
Search Console is the strongest free source, because it reports the queries your own pages already appear for, with impressions and position. Google Keyword Planner gives volume in broad ranges and needs an Ads account. Bing Webmaster Tools includes a keyword research report.
